The Best Exercises Guide
So what are the best exercises? We all know that exercise is good for us and that we should be doing more of it if we want to lose weight and generally be healthier. There is no shortage of equipment and products on the market these days. Every time you turn on the television there is a new advertisement with a personal trainer explaining how he is going to help melt away your fat with just 20 minutes a day for just three small payments of … But are these products actually any good? Do they deliver? Are they the best exercises?
With anything in life I suppose you get out what you put in but some of these products are just scams, traditional exercises repacked for the mass market. Or worse they claim results that can never be achievable with the products that are sold. Now if you’re anything like me you’ll start a new exercise programme with a bounce in your step and a smile on your face. But as your muscles start aching and the scales stop moving, I don’t know about you my motivation usually starts to fade. So how do you stop wasting money on faddy products that won’t show good results and will just end up costing you a fortune and cluttering up your closet? How do you fond the best exercises for you? Well the biggest piece of advice I can give you is use your common sense. If it sounds too good to be true then it probably is! Let’s face it we know losing weight isn’t going to be easy we have to put in the work and the effort, it will be worth it in the end. An exercise regime that promises you can lose two dress sizes in two weeks by exercising just 20 minutes a day is either telling porkies or expecting you to go on a highly restricted diet. The second piece of advice I will give you is choose something you enjoy doing. If you hate running, as I do, you just won’t be motivated to get up before work for that early morning run. Believe me. But an outdoor exercise class just might do the trick. Thirdly, and then I’ll shut up and let you read on, mix it up. Don’t stick to the same exercise and the same routine. Your body will get used to it and you will get bored, even if you love doing it. Try something new, like a team sport or going for a swim. You’ll start to use different muscles and keep you might just find something you’re really good at. The articles below are intended to help you decide whether an exercise is for you and whether it is worth investing money on equipment etc. I would suggest getting professional guidance before attempting any, whether that’s through a personal trainer or a class at your local gym. Have fun reading and I hope you find something you enjoy.
